Species
Below is everything you need to know about the available species on the boards. Keep in mind that other than Purebloods, Animal Shapeshifters, occasional pets, or pre-approved characters, all characters look like regular people. Everyone is mostly human, 90% or higher human. (Again, unless they are pre-approved by an admin). They don't have any sort of special features, unless their powers cause them.
In addition, There are unique features, traits, and abilities for each race. However, these are only obtained by approval from Admin;Akira. Characters can obtain them, with approval, by facing extreme trauma (here on the boards so I can see if the trauma matches what I mean), or falling in true love (cliche but I'm totally serious). They can only be used when in close proximity to their loved one, or during uses of extreme power. If obtained through love, a very powerful magical bond is formed, and both persons will receive some trait of their lover's, along with some sort of combined power, as well as a boost in whatever power they already have. If the bond is strong enough, a Unique Ability may be granted. These are also listed in with the species, but you may not claim them unless Admin;Akira has approved it for you. These traits will be in brackets.
Seraph
This means that somewhere in your family history, and angel bred with a human. From that moment on, generations began having powers Angelic in nature. Seraph blood usually causes people to be kind to one another. They are interested in helping other people. Usually they wind up as doctors, or healers of some kind, teachers, and counselors. Most of them are fascinated with life. Many keep gardens, or help stray animals.
Seraphs usually have natural power over light. If a Seraph is dedicated enough, they may give off a soft glow when surrounded by darkness.

Nephilim
A combination of a Daemon and a Seraph. Nephilims will occasionally be born with more than one natural ability. Nephilim may present with an ability over light, and some sort of elemental power, though the most common element for a Nephilim to develop is Wind. This is rather rare however. (In other words, talk to Admin;Akira about it before writing it into your app.)
(Upon reaching certain requirements, Nephilim may sprout wings, they cannot be used for flight, but they do provide a boost in power.)
Daemon
Most people actually do have Daemon blood in their line. Daemons are purely neutral creatures, they can use powers from either alignment, but they usually control elements. Daemons used to roam the world, much in the way that humans do now. Many were killed off or cast out for the things they could do.
Daemons will naturally have some sort of minor elemental control. If trained enough, this can grow into a full elemental power.
(Upon reaching certain requirements, Daemons may develop all sorts of different things. Wings, Fangs, Tails, Horns, animal ears, Markings, etc. These provide a boost in power.)
Furie
A combination of a Daemon and a Hellion. Furies will occasionally be born with more than one natural ability. Furies may present with an ability to see in the dark, and some sort of elemental power, the most common element for a Furie, would be Darkness. This is rather rare however. (In other words, talk to Admin;Akira about it before writing it into your app.)

Hellion
Hellions are what many people think demons are. Pure-blooded Hellions can possess humans. If a normal human bred with a possessed human, it would result in the line having Hellion blood. Most people with Hellion blood turn into some form of criminal or delinquent. They tend to be on the more shady side of things. Like lawyers, drug dealers, crime bosses, etc.
Hellions have power over darkness. They can see a bit better in the dark than most other creatures. If trained enough, they can Master Night Vision, and Umbralkinesis.

Human
Humans have no powers upon birth. They can, however, be taught how to use magic by a Master in whatever power they are trying to learn. This must be purchased in the store. Humans are also fairly neutral. After they are granted a power, regardless of age, they must train with it for a very long time, as they have no natural connection to magic.
Witches
Witches are essentially humans, but they have the ability to borrow magic from other beings and use it as their own. They have a small bit of a natural connection with magic that allows them to trap or make contracts with inhuman beings to use their powers.
Witches have three sub-categories to pick from. Blood Witch, Black Witch, and White Witch.
White Witch:
White Witches employ Seraphs and Nephilim. They usually use their magics via a pact or contract. Sometimes Daemons may be employed as well to help with elemental magic. White Witches are known best for their healing and protection spells, herbalism, and potions. They are generally good by nature and do not wish to upset the balance of things.
Blood Witch:
Blood Witches usually employ Furies and Hellions. They are known to use both pacts and entrapments. Blood Witches are usually into Voodoo magics, and anything else that may require the use of blood or ritual sacrifice. They are known for all sorts of different things, ranging from protection to destruction, amulets, charms, spells and potions seem to be the most popular forms of voodoo, and are often sold throughout New Orleans.
Blood Witches following Hoodoo Magics may use a Nephilim or a Furie, as hoodoo is more practiced as a healing art.
Black Witch:
Black Witches usually employ Hellions, but occasionally a Furie or Daemon may be used. They usually use entrapments as they have very little respect for their source of power. They usually see them as their slaves and will use them and treat them as such. Black Witches focus on curses and Necromancy above all else. Their goal is power and influence most of the time.
Pure Daemons
This race is currently restricted. Members must have been here for at least a month to make a pure daemon.
Purebloods have a direct connection to magic. This allows them to be Masters of whatever skills they have.
Pureblooded Daemons are Masters of the Elements, and can wield all elements. Most pureblooded Daemon have a variety of special features.These features include, but are not limited to; Horns, Tails, Fangs, Markings, Wings, Animal like features. They can have all of these things, some of these things, or none of these things.
The average Daemon lives to be around 8,000 or so years. The oldest Daemons in the realm are around 15,000 years old, and usually work as counsel for the Royals. The average Daemon is between 800-2,000 years in age. Average Daemon height is usually between 6'0" to 9'0". The Daemons older than 10,000 are usually around 12'0" or so. This Height does change as they enter the human realm, but they do still remain rather tall. For example, the King's daughter is 5'11", and her brother is 6'9".
Pure Hellions
This race is currently Unavailable.
The purest hellions can't take human shape in the human realm, many of them appear as wisps or shadows or puffs of smoke. They only exists in human form if made by an Ethereal.
Pure Seraphs
This race is currently Unavailable.
Pure Seraphs seem to always radiate some sort of light. They also have their wings out almost constantly. They can put them away from human sight if they want to, but most of them are too proud to actually do so.
Ethereals
This race is currently restricted to admins only.
Most to all ethereals share similar features. White hair, pink, magenta, or red eyes, a soft glow to their skin, and the fact that they seem to radiate power.
