Argyris, Alexei (NPC)

Alexei is 5'11" and 148 pounds. He has a normal skin tone, pitch black hair, which is usually tied off towards the side, and bright red eyes. He's most comfortable in dark suits, as he was raised as a fine young gentleman. He always wears a bright smile, just to charm anyone and everyone he's ever around. Around his neck, a silver cross on a silver chain, with a small ruby in its center. This was a gift from his father, and his brother has one very similar.

His favored casual attire consists of a black leather jacket, the hood lined with white or black fur, because yes, he has more than one jacket, motorcycle fingerless gloves, occasionally coupling that all with a black police cap. Of course, with this attire, he wears high, steel toed, black combat boots. His ears are both pierced, usually with round black studs.

In his wallet, he carries around a picture of his adorable little brother.

Alexei is a terribly charming individual. He's always flirting with basically anything that walks, within his personal standards, of course. Thin, tall, preferably dark hair. Alexei always seems to be a happy person. He loves being the center of attention and the life of the party. He's very upbeat, and thinks very highly of himself. He can be quite arrogant at times, but it's not in an overbearing sort of way. Alexei can be a silver tongued devil when he wants to be, knowing how to be properly manipulative, he usually gets anything he wants, whenever he wants it. He grew up a spoiled little rich kid, so one can't really expect him to be much else. He's still sort of in his rebellious teenage, party all the time, teenaged stage, though, because of the recent loss of his mother, he has sole custody of his younger brother, and has begun to attempt to learn responsibility.

Speaking of his brother...

Alexei is terribly fond of his little brother, Fadei. He is very outwardly clingy to the boy, not caring about making the boy uncomfortable in social situations, because, after all, what are big brothers for? Constant love and affection, so much so that it's terribly obnoxious. He's totally aware of this fact, finding it entertaining to make his brother squirm.

In all actuality though, the two are undeniably attracted to one another, more than likely because they were pretty much all each other had. Sure, Alexei had friends, and he went out and partied all the time with them. But something about the boy just clicks with him, and there's an undeniable chemistry than neither of them can really deny. Though, their relationship is very hidden from the public, at least, it is on Fadei's side, as Alexei doesn't really care if he hangs all over his brother.

Life had always been kind to him. Alexei was born to a very wealthy name. His father was never in the picture, though his mother would spend plenty of time showing him pictures, telling him stories, letting him get to know his father as best as she could provide. In truth, the man had died shortly after his mother learned that she was pregnant. Alexei was sent to some of the best schools, often getting in trouble, but he was always terribly popular in spite of his defiant nature.

Just before his 6th birthday, his mother announced that he was going to be a big brother. He was so excited to be a big brother, that he spent most of his free time helping his mother pick out things for the new baby. Colors of his room, what toys and furniture he should have, everything. And once his mother started showing signs of her pregnancy, the boy spent time on his mother's lap, humming or singing to the baby, sometimes just sitting there telling stories and waiting for him to kick, finding some sort of thrill from it.

Once he was born, Alexei requested to be removed from school to help his mother take care of the baby, not that she really needed it with all the wet nurses and maids around, but she agreed and let him do his studies from home. Whenever he had free time, he would help feed the baby, play with him, read him stories. And the two became rather close as they grew older.

Once he hit puberty, his powers began to develop, and his mother told him it was time to go back to school. Reluctantly he agreed, being shipped off to boarding school. He would return home as often as he could, all vacations and holidays, but he noticed the once strong relationship between him and his brother starting to shift. He tried as hard as he could to make it up to the boy, but only seeing his big brother a few times a year made the kid feel somewhat abandoned.

This worsened once Alexei hit the end of his high school career. His brother was just old enough to go to his own boarding school, and Alexei was shipped off to college. It was here that Alexei met Khieran. The two hit it off almost instantaniously, and quickly became best friends. And after a few drunken weekends, they decided to try and give being together a go. This however didn't really work out very well, as Alexei was simply a bit too wild and out of control. The two broke it off, but remained good friends. Over the next few years, their mother was diagnosed with a terminal illness. This was hard for both of the boys, but Alexei spent his misery drinking and doing drugs, partying with dangerous crowds, while Fadei was pulled out of school to help with the care of his mother.

It was during this time that Alexei was contacted by a source, this source told him that he had some information about his family. At the time, Alexei cast aside the information, thinking that it was unimportant. Later at a party, Alexei found himself terribly wasted, and barely noticed someone taking a few vials of his blood.

After about a year, Alexei was forced to return home, as his mother was only left with a few months to live. As much as this had torn he and his brother apart, Alexei did everything he could to sober up and get in his brother's good graces. Their mother told them of a box she had hidden away that they were to receive upon her death containing information about their father.

And after a few more months, the boys buried their mother. This tragedy was probably what brought them back together in the end, as Alexei was now solely in charge of the boy. Together, the two of them received the questionable trunk, and spent almost an entire week going through it. The two learned that their father had actually been the mob boss of a crime syndicate, labeled as the "Silver Crosses". But beyond this, they learned that the syndicate passed to a half brother that they had never known about. Also inside, were contact lists, dealer names, coordinates to various things, and a pair of beautiful silver crosses on silver chains. There were a few letters, in which, it had been stated that should anything happen to him, his living heirs would receive everything. One of the crosses had been his own, and the other had been their mother's. Alexei gave their mother's cross to his brother, since Fadei had adored her so much, taking his father's as his own.

The two did what they could to track their half brother down, and eventually decided to go looking for him. During this process, Alexei contacted the source that he had received, and asked about the family in question. The contact told Alexei that his half brother was located in London, even going as far as telling him where to find him, but to be quite careful, as he was quite a successful mob boss, like his father before him. Because of this warning, Alexei wanted to go by himself, but Fadei argued with him, not wanting to be left out of anything. Alexei also decided to ask Khieran to come along with them, as he was still incredibly close to the boys. And together, the three made their way to London, where everything was about to change.

After meeting his brother, Alexei got involved with the mafia that he ran and began running around for him too. Kyrarei has him run to New Orleans every now and then for him as well.


His middle name is Vespasian.


Power 1: Psionic Protection; Advanced

The ability to create a force field made from pure psychic energy.

He can create force fields enough to protect himself, and his brother, or one other. He can resist some mental forces with this as well.

Power 2: Cryokinesis; Advanced

The ability to control ice.

He mostly uses it to chill his drinks, okay?

The ability to affect the weather.

He likes to make it rain when he's depressed for some sort of added ambiance.



Unique Ability: Psionic Inundation; Beginner

The ability to project harmful psionic waves into the mind of another being.

He just discovered this ability, rather painfully, as he almost killed a girl when he was hungover. He had thought it was just a headache, but when it became unbearable, something switched in his head, an a psionic blast hit the mind of the girl he had been with, sending her into a coma for a few weeks. Since then, he has done his best to avoid headaches.
