[attr="class","temptabinf"]Jean Luc is a rather friendly person though he is also on the quiet side. He prefers listening to talking, which is probably why his friendship with Rayne works out so well. Due to his quiet nature, growing up he was often considered weird or snotty, but rumors like this didn't entirely bother Jean Luc. He is just quiet by nature, and even more so because he hates his accent. He was raised to be polite and with good manners, and he acts as such. He will be a gentleman to women, and kind to anyone who has given him no reason to be unkind to them.
Jean Luc often thinks he is a dull person, though Rayne always entirely disagrees. He thinks he is predictable and easy to figure out, but the reality is that he seems to have quite complex thoughts and feelings about various things. Not necessarily emotional, but quite varying in the way he reacts to different situations. This could be due to his own uncertainty of himself. He is also a rather passionate person about things he cares about and will put his all into something, no matter what it is, as long as it's something important to him.

[attr="class","temptabinf2"]Jean Luc is on the tall side standing at about 6'2" in height. He has a slender build though he is kept in great shape, his body toned nicely. He has light, pastel pink hair, on the longer side coming to the nape of his neck, shaggy in cut and often in his eyes. His eyes are a yellowish green and rather light in hue, sometimes appearing as if they are glowing, though they aren't.
Jean Luc isn't a big fan of fashion, and will wear basically anything. However, since Rayne had come to live with him, his clothing game has been stepped up. Not by choice, of course. He can be seen in things from a dress shirt, sweater vest and tie to a hoodie jacket and beanie. While the later is of course his perferred fashion choice, he doens't really mind anything Rayne dresses him in as long as it's somethign he can be comfortable in. Jean Luc does often wear headphones no matter what though, as he finds music calming.

[attr="class","temptabinf3"]Jean Luc was born in Louisiana to French parents. Being an upper middle class family, he grew up with a rather comfortable lifestyle not really having to worry about much in his life. Around the age of five, his family would let their son start to learn about their secret. They were witches. This created a fascination in the boy about magic, and the non-human creatures that let them possess such a power. Honestly, little Jean Luc couldn't wait until he grew up and could learn some for himself.
At around the age of eight, Jean Luc's parents would get divorced and he would start to live a double life. Half of his time would be spent in his birth place of Louisiana with his mother and the other half would be spent in Paris, France with his father. With half his years being spent in Paris and French being spoken at home with his mother, Jean Luc would never out grow his French accent despite being American. Thanks to this he was often teased in school for it and came to rather hate his accent. His knowledge of French however, made it easy for him to learn the local language of Creole French.
With his parent's divorce, Jean Luc would often have to be alone since each parent worked. Rather than have him home alone, both agreed that Jean Luc should take up a hobby that would keep him occupied after school. In other words, a sort of babysitter to watch him. So the boy decided to take up music, which he was naturally inclined toward. His life would continue on like this until he was about thirteen years old.
At this age, Jean Luc would start to take studying magic seriously. While he had no pact of his own yet, he still wanted to learn what he could. While he knew being able to actually use magic would be different from just studying it without the use of magic, he felt confident in his abilities once he would be able to make a contract. At Eighteen, Jean Luc's mother would also move back to Paris, leaving the boy to care for the house in Louisiana on his own. Not that he minded in the least.
Life would become dull again until the age of Twenty One when Jean Luc went back to Paris to visit his family. He would meet an interesting fellow named Rayne. Jean Luc will never really know how the two hit it off so well, though he is positive it is due to Rayne's flirty nature that somehow he got sucked in to the redhead's magnetism. In any case, they became fast friends and soon Jean Luc found himself inviting Rayne to live with him in Louisiana. The closer they grew, the more Jean Luc would trust Rayne and eventually tell him, the truth about his heritage. After all, it probably would have been found out anyway since they were going to live together. Of course the pink haired male hardly expected Rayne to have his own secret about his lineage.
This only strengthened their friendship and eventually the two came to the agreement of having a contract with each other. So for the past year the two have been room mates, friends and contracted to each other, giving Jean Luc the full use of his magical abilities. Nothing between their friendship has changed though, and they remain as close as ever. Though Jean Luc does get annoyed with Rayne's habits when he works.
